Bears Everywhere

With the number of bears on the rise, and their habitats on the decrease, it’s become increasingly likely for human beings to encounter a bear at some point in their lives.  As we continue to encroach on their natural habitats we’re literally forcing them out, and not all of them are all that willing to go quietly. Bear sighting and attacks across the country are evidence of this. It’s even true when we’re not hurting their habitat but just trying to take it in and enjoy it. This leaves campers, hikers and outdoor enthusiasts particularly susceptible to a bear encounter.

People have long thought the only to get rid of a bear is to shoot it. The problem is people just don’t carry guns with them everywhere. This is especially with most hikers and campers. A gun can be unsafe, unwieldy and very expensive. That’s why bear spray makes an excellent alternative to guns when you’re heading outdoors. Affordable, effective and easy to carry pepper spray could easily mean the difference between life and death in a bear encounter.
